Psychodynamic psychotherapy

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a process that involves helping you to better understand yourself and your experiences so that you are able to move through life in a more meaningful and creative way.  Together we will explore the complex underlying feelings and repetitive patterns that have affected your life in an effort to expand emotional/psychological self-awareness, personal freedom, and intimacy in relationships. Through collaborative and consistent sessions, psychodynamic psychotherapy will provide a safe and confidential space to help you through difficult emotional experiences, develop deeper self understanding and cultivate better interpersonal/relational skills to live a more expansive and easeful life.

In addition to working within a psychodynamic orientation, I also teach individuals how to use clinical hypnotherapy/mindfulness to help reduce anxiety, chronic pain, sleep disturbances, phobias, and other symptoms that can interfere with healthy living and personal growth.
