Aileen Blitz, Ph.D.
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Aileen Blitz is a clinical psychologist in private practice with offices in Manhattan and Westchester, New York. She is a consultant clinical psychologist and clinical adjunct professor at the NYU Langone Medical Center’s Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery.  Dr. Blitz has worked for over 30 years in the field of medical psychology.  She has expertise in working with individuals with craniofacial conditions, and has presented on this topic both nationally and internationally.  Dr. Blitz has years of postdoctoral training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and works within a developmental, relational analytic orientation. Dr. Blitz has expertise in hypnotherapy for symptoms of depression, anxiety and pain management. Dr. Blitz has training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Structural Family Therapy.
